The convictions that root us, the truths that sustain our faith.
One God
There is one true God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Creator of all things.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–3; 2 Corinthians 13:14Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the only begotten and eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His ongoing intercession for believers, and His personal, visible return to earth in power and glory.
Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; John 1:14, 18; John 3:16; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 2:22–24; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 7:25; Revelation 19:11–16The Holy Scriptures
The Bible, as originally given, is the inspired, authoritative, and infallible Word of God, and is our supreme rule for faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12Salvation
Humanity is sinful and separated from God. Every person must be born again through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We believe that all people will be resurrected: those who have trusted Christ to eternal life, and those who have rejected Him to eternal judgment.
Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; John 3:3–7; Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:8–9; John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit dwells within every believer. He regenerates, disciples, sanctifies, and empowers believers for holy living and ministry through His supernatural gifts.
John 14:16–17; John 16:13; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–25; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Acts 1:8The Church
The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, united by the Holy Spirit to worship God, build one another up, and proclaim the gospel.
Matthew 16:18; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 1:22–23; Ephesians 4:11–16The Lord’s Supper
We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns. Through faith, believers participate in the benefits of His atoning work.
Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience for those who have personally placed their faith in Jesus Christ, identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:38–41; Romans 6:3–4; Colossians 2:12The Great Commission
We believe Jesus has commissioned His Church to make disciples of all nations by preaching the gospel, teaching God’s Word, healing the sick, casting out demons, baptising believers, and demonstrating the Kingdom of God until He returns.
